Donna Baker, LCSW, received her Master of Social Work from the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, CA. in 1978. She was licensed as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in 1982 and has worked in Oncology services since 1980 both at UC Irvine, Chao Family Comprehensive Cancer Center and St. Joseph Hospital. She is a member of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) and the Association of Oncology Social Workers (AOSW) as well as the Professional Association of Oncology Social Workers (POSWA). Donna has been an active volunteer for the American Cancer Society and the Susan G. Koman Foundation. She is also the UC Irvine, Chao Family Comprehensive Cancer Center representative to the Cancer Patient Education Network (CPEN) and is on their membership committee. She is a board member for the HPC Foundation as well as the Ovarian Cancer Orange County Alliance.

Donna is the Group Services Coordinator at the Chao Comprehensive Cancer Center. In this capacity, she provides support services, individual counseling and resources to patients diagnosed with cancer as well as their families. This includes several support groups, educational programs, music thrapy, holiday celebrations and the Patient/Family Resource Center. She has been the recipient of several grants which have provided additional benefits to the patients at UC Irvine, Chao Family Comprehensive Cancer Center.
